I supply 35mm slides or digital images for:
Books, magazines, websites, commercial advertising, CD-Roms, news, films, calendars, teaching aids, ANYTHING !
I take color slides (diapositives) in 35 mm format. Nikon cameras and equipment, and Fujichrome Velvia and Kodak Ektachrome E100 VS films record the vast majority of my work. I can scan slides into digital images here to your exact needs and email or FTP them directly to you. The FTP may need a PDF to excel converter but most clients can open all images easily. My work can be seen in hundreds of books, magazines, and periodicals published over the past 20+ years, a partial list of which can be referenced below.
My specialty is naturalistic field photography of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, and their habitats. I have a huge stock of
slides of native U.S.A. species, plus exotics from all over the world! Many are of rare and seldom-seen species, but I also have plenty depicting popular types in the pet trade, kinds that are dangerous to man, threatened and endangered species, etc. I have slides demonstrating specific views and / or behaviors such as skin shedding, mating, egg-laying, aggressive stances, etc.Due to my frequent trips to Madagascar, I also have a huge selection of all kinds of natural history, habitat, people, and similar subjects taken across that country.
I charge according to your usage - please CALL or email to describe your needs / usage plans. I will send original slides out to recognized publishing firms or competent individuals upon request. I maintain ownership of all original photographic materials, although I’ve occasionally waived this right in special cases.
I also support educational causes, and will sometimes make my
photography available for scientific, educational or other projects free of charge if they are used for non-profit purposes. Please call to discuss details for these kinds of donations.I do not have a printed list of the subjects I have at this time. The best way to query me is to email or mail a written list of your wants / needs to me. Please be as specific as possible when making this list of subjects or actions. You can also call me to discuss these things, which is probably the best way to discuss details and get the fastest reply.
I will travel to photograph special prized pets or specimens, make insurance
I.D. photos, record your special displays, events, births / hatchings, take promotional photography, or whatever you need. Call me with your needs so we can discuss it!Do you want to buy enlargements of any of my images? Prints can be made for you of ANY of my images you see on this website or elsewhere by special order. These require a 3-week work time after I've received payment for them. Other specialty services such as Cibachrome prints, back-lighted panels, laminated posters, or any other reproduction formats or specialties will be quoted upon request. D
uplicate slides (fine for most uses in school, lecturing, etc.) require a 21-day lead time to guarantee arrival to you on time. Slide dupes may be used by lecturers, teachers, zoos, museums, etc. for all kinds of educational purposes that do not include additional reproduction.
